Hi folks,

Several days ago, I point out a backfill problem during iqfeed lost its connection. I do notice that in the newest version 1047, you upgrade to millisecond timestamp and try to fix that problem along with other issues. Thank you for your effort. However, the same problem persist. Today, I simply unplug and replug my internet cable to mimic a small internet disruption, and the iqfeed would leave that small gap in between. Then I realize that the sierrachart status bar stay green even during the internet disruption which means SC have never seen this disruption althrough the following message being sent to the message log:
IQ feed reports external connection is now Not Connected. | 2013-11-18 09:39:12

IQ feed reports external connection is now Connected after it was previously lost. Downloading missing historical data. | 2013-11-18 09:39:16
That's why NO backfill was actually triggered after the iqfeed is reconnected.

So I think that to really fix this problem, you need to let SC change that status bar to "not connected" then "connecting" when this message-"IQ feed reports external connection is now Not Connected." being sent from iqfeed. Then I think the backfill will be triggered.

Thank you for pointing this out. We discovered the problem. We had temporarily disabled the re-downloading of data due to a recent problem in the IQ Feed software. Here was the comment:
//Do not do this now (download missing data) because there is a bug in the IQ feed client software where this condition occurs too often.

It will be re-enabled in the next release coming out in about an hour.
