Rithmic data stall during high volume periods

I'm currently doing both the TST combine and Earn2trade's gauntlet with Rithmic and everything works great except during the first 2 hours of US market open when volume is high. The datafeed doesn't freeze like CTS simulation server's but it stalls and lags behind the actual price by around 2-3 seconds. The feed will often disconnect and then reconnect on its own. Later when volume decreases, it works fine again.

Since this is happening on both the Rithmic TST server and Paper Trading server (Earn2trade), I don't think this is a problem specific to Rithmic's server unless there's a problem in both of those servers, in which case I'd think I would have already heard or read about it from other users.

The thing is, this problem only started this week. Last week, during all 5 trading days, I never had this problem with Rithmic and the only difference between this week and last week is that I updated to ver 1882.

This could definitely not be a problem with the Sierra Chart version. That is 100% definite.

We do not provide this kind of technical help when using Rithmic. We consider Rithmic a legacy service at this point in time.

We recommend using the Sierra Chart exchange data feed when using Rithmic:

If the issue is due to Internet connectivity somewhere on your side, then using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed may not help. And you still would lose the connection to Rithmic anyway.

Although the Sierra Chart exchange data feed will continue to run so long as you do not select File >> Disconnect.

The connectivity Sierra Chart has to Rithmic is substandard and messy. We do not like it.

i do get around 330Mbps down for my internet speed but i am located in Asia so maybe that's a contributor.

cqg has always worked flawlessly b/c they have servers in Asia which i am enabled on but i have to use Rithmic for TST combine and E2T gauntlet. i don't think SC data feed has servers in Asia yet.

1) is there a way to limit the amount of data i receive with Rithmic similar to the 'low bandwidth' option you guys have for the SC datafeed? i don't need the full market depth that Rithmic provides (which i assume consumes a lot of bandwidth) so maybe limiting that would help

2) is it possible to do TST combine + E2T gauntlet with SC Datafeed? i always thought at least for NON-funded accounts that are still on the tryout stages, we had to use the datafeed provided by the evaluators for evaluation purposes.

Do you have a funded trading account? If so you can use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. You just need to connect Sierra Chart once a month to your live trading account to authorize the real-time data:

do you mean whether i have a funded Topsteptrader account or whether i have a funded personal account?

i have a personal funded account with AMP + CQG.

so if i enable the SC Data feed, even if i select Rithmic as my trading service and am connected to 'Rithmic Topstep Trader' server, is it possible to only receive SC Data feed, and only route orders through the Rithmic Topstep Trader server?

A real live funded account with real money is what we are referring to. And the answer to your question is yes.

You will just have to connect to the AMP account at the beginning of each month to qualify for the lower-priced CME fees. Refer to the following:
