I am trying to understand why there is a price discrepancy between two charts. I am charting the ES continuous futures, both back adjusted using date rule rollover. On the weekly chart the all time high is 2956.50 and on the monthly it is 2951.25. I'm using SC data service, historical charts. Please advise. Thanks. |

Also on the weekly and monthly back adjusted we do see 2956.50 for the high.

I have uploaded the charts. I have included a daily as that is showing 2956 as the high. The daily is displaying intraday data and day-only session. thanks

To solve the problem the Monthly chart needs to be changed also to ESM19. This is critical since back adjustments are being done. It is set to the March contract.
