formula columns being overwritten in spreadsheet system for trading

In a spreadsheet system for trading, the number of formula columns is set to 16 (the default). The number of rows is set to 5. Anything entered in K3-Z3 is automatically copied down through the next 4 rows. Example: I enter "test" or "=J12*J13" in S3, and these values are copied down from S4 through S7. Equations that were running in these rows previously without issue are now overwritten to be identical to whatever is in row 3.

My first instinct was to painstakingly move all my equations to rows beyond row 7, but I'm worried there's something deeper going on here that needs to be addressed.

The issue persists after upgrading to version 1880 (x64).

Thanks.

This is standard behavior for the Spreadsheet Study. And is well documented. You will need to use another column after the Z formula column.

That's interesting because my equations were working and not being copied down before. (I have no idea how I made that happen, but it was working for weeks like that.) Okay, so I'll respect the current behavior as expected and intended.

Do you foresee any issues (beyond adding more rows at some point) in moving all the equations down beyond row 7 in columns K-Z?

We do not really think that is a good idea. You really should use separate columns for the formulas.
