Problem with Erase Drawing Mode?

It appears that something has changed when I go into “Erase Drawing Mode” in order to get rid of multiple drawings on a chart (for me, usually short non-extended horizontal lines). It used to be that when going into that mode, the curser would changes into a pointer and I could then go around and click one drawing after another, without interruption, as the crosshairs would go, in order, to the drawings I had just clicked on and make them disappear. If I had 20 such drawings on a chart, for instance, I could click all the drawings and get way ahead of what the crosshairs were doing in deleting them. Sometimes I could then just sit and wait a few seconds, watching the crosshairs move around, until all the drawings disappeared. That worked great! However, now, after clicking one or two drawings, the pointer is pulled to wherever the crosshairs happen to be and follows the crosshairs wherever they go. That means I have to quickly pull the pointer to the next drawing I want to delete and click on it quickly before the pointer is then pulled once again to the next drawing in line to delete. It get a little irritating because sometimes just as I’m ready to click on another drawing I want to delete, the pointer it pulled to wherever the crosshairs happen to be, and I miss clicking on the drawing I had intended to click on. This is not a super big deal and I can live with it. But it does seem to be a change from the way it used to work.

Hope this helps, and thank you for your consideration!

Dan

P.S. I'm using version 1880

We are not sure why there is such a lag when you are erasing drawings. That is a concern. Maybe you have a lot of drawings on the chart. We know why this happens and we will implement a solution in the next release.
