Percent Change Since Open Indicator Question

Many times when using the Percent Change since Open indicator and setting the Start Time parameter to (First Bar In Chart), the indicator will not plot. However, when I change the Start Time parameter to (Trading Day Start time) on the same symbol, the indicator will plot. I'm hoping you could tell me why this occurs and how to fix it. Thanks.

Update: I noticed this only happens when I am using multiple symbols in the same chart using the Add Additional Symbol indicator. Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it doesn't. However, when I open a new chart window with a single symbol, then the indicator works properly. Is there any way that I can get this to work when using multiple symbols in the same chart window?
