Did the whole data folder architecture change or something?

Many moons ago, I had both of my installations of SC set up to use \data directories set up in my own user data drive, not on C:. I believe I did this thru some global setting for the data folder location, several months ago something changed and it went back to defaulting to C:\SierraChart\Data.

I was able to change it with the FOLDER button on the Open Chartbook dialog, so I just started doing that and never got around to investigating what happened.

But now I need the .DLY files that SC used to put in my \Data folder (I have Excel spreadsheets that import them) and I see they haven't been updated since about Sept. of last year. I searched for the .DLY files I need on both my user drive and on C: and can't find them.

Did the whole data storage architecture change? Are there still .DLY files? Is there a way to get SC to default to the data folder I want it to use at startup, and to have .DLY files stored there like it used to work?

Thanks in advance!
Erik

Nothing has changed at all. These files are going to be stored in the specified Data Files Folder in Global Settings >> General Settings.
