Hi,

I am back-testing strategies on a daily / weekly time frames, Fx pairs through Lmax data-feed.

I noticed that in some pairs (majors) historical data goes back as far as 1993.
In all other pairs instead, historical data goes back no further than 2013 even though I write myself 1993 in the data range.
As soon as I click apply to confirm the new setting, the data range changes itself back to 2013.

Am I doing something wrong?

There is a way to have longer historical data on all pairs?

Regards,
F.

We will make sure the maximum amount of historical data is added for those but allow a couple of weeks for this.

Good morning, I noticed that some of the above markets now goes back as far as 1993 thanks for that.
However, some of them still cannot go back further than 2013.
Does this means that older data doesn't exist for them?

Regards,
F.

The history on these has been extended.

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

Just to make sure:
I saw there are different initial start date, some market from 1993 and other from 2008, 2001 etc.
Is that normal?

Regards.

It would be great if all of the above listed markets could go back as far as 1993.
This could help me to have a linear backtest across all asset classes and have a better understanding of the performance.

The markets that still don't have data available to 1993 are:

AUDCHF
AUDNZD
CADCHF
CADJPY
EURNZD
GBPAUD
GBPCAD
GBPNZD
NZDCAD
NZDCHF
NZDJPY

Please let me know if I can assist further.
Regards.
