Several questions re live data feed

Symbol: clz3

how is the datafeed provided?
TOS provides data is streaming, it does not come in packets

how candles are formed using tick chart? and Countdown study?

TOS - a 1 lot that trades, is 1 tick; a 500 lot that trades on one order, is 1 tick, NOT 500 ticks

When you have a 1 minute chart up and a 233 tick chart up, on what basis is the 1-minute candle formed if the data/trade setting is set to 1 tick?

On a 1-minute chart why does time jump from 5:18 to 6:49 EST when there were trades occurring during this time?

Thanks for your response in advance.

Just spoke with CME - the gentleman said the high for clz3 was 94.48 between 4:24 to 4:26 A.M. CST
Why do the charts not show this - 1 min nor 133 tick charts?

The Sierra Chart real-time futures data feed for CLZ3 shows a high of 94.48 at 4:26 AM central time.

We do not see any missing data.

Right-click on the chart before that time and select Delete Data and Download.

Does this "delete data and download" need to be done everyday after the new session starts?

btw - is the datafeed you now have streaming?

and why doesn't the 1-min charts show 1 min intervals from London open to US open?

No. You do not have to delete and re-download the data every day.

We did have an historical data serving problem that we have just now resolved. This may very well have been why you have been missing some data.

So therefore, please re-download the data again at this time. You should not be missing any data. Although there is limited historical data available so the history does not go back very far. Depending upon the symbol and the server, it may only go back about a week. This is going to be increased.

The data feed documented here is a streaming data feed:

If you are still missing data in the chart, refer to help topic number 7 here:
