Chart Overlay Question

I am pair trading and trying to plot the relative movement of two instruments against each other using an overlay of a line chart. However, it is hard to chart the difference between the two instruments because the lines keep moving depending on where I have scrolled in the chart (see attachment). Is there a way to anchor the prices so that the relative distance between the two symbols at any specific point will remain constant regardless of where I have scrolled in the chart?

Try using the Percent Change Since Open study.

I've noticed when using the Percent Change Since Open study and setting it to First Bar on Chart, that the first bar will constantly change as new bars are added and the older bars are deleted. Is there a way to anchor it to the first bar in a chart and have it remain anchored to that specific bar even as new bars are formed? Thanks again.

try Study price overlay to get them on the same chart... then use Study Subgraph Subtract to get difference

Thanks but the only issue with that is the Percent Change Indicator has both prices starting from the same Zero starting point (showing their relative movement against each other) whereas the overlay won't.

Here is the documentation to solve this:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Maintaining Same Scale for Multiple Graphs in Chart Region

What is said in post #3 is not correct. The starting bar in the chart does not change until there is a reload of the chart.

Under that condition, what you need to do to keep it fixed is to specify a From Date with this setting:

What is the Automatic Zero Centered parameter in the Scale window? I found the documentation on the Automatic Zero Based but could not find anything on the Automatic Zero Centered.
