I use Spreadsheet System for Trading with Support Reversals set as Yes. When I send orders to Bitmex no reversals happen. I get order status in Bitmex as Canceled saying Order had execInst of Close or ReduceOnly and side of Sell/Buy but current position is 0. Seems like the flat order has been through but the reverse order not.

I have been trying multiple combination of input variables in the spreadsheet study settings, but none results in any reversal. What do I do wrong?

PS. no need to refer me to SC documentations on reversals, order types, trade and chart settings etc. I have been reading everything multiple times, including whatever I could find on the net and the SC's support board. Please guide me directly on which settings I should use to make this work.

Thanks!

We have looked into this. What we want to know is for that order which is establishing a new position as a result of a reversal, which should be a separate order, check what the Open/Close state is in the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders tab. Let us know.

As long as the state is Open, the Close instruction should not be set.

okay, i attached a file showing what it does, the first row is when it opens a buy position and the reversal is the other 2, looks like it fills the original position but the reversal order never goes through or other way around.

i tested again doing it manually and it works when there is stops and targets but when its just a raw 1 order without any stops or targets like in the screenshot it did work 1 time and then the 2nd time trying to reverse manually it does the same thing as in the spreadsheet.

with the spreadsheet it does not matter if there is stops and targets it doesnt work either way like it does with manually.

We have determined a solution and implemented this. This will be out in about one day in the next release.
