[User Discussion] - value at the end of a bar from another chart on a spreadsheet

Maybe I'm wrong, on a spreadsheet, it seems impossible to get the end of bar value from a different chart. Example, the spreadsheet is on a 5 ticks range bar chart and I want to get the value of a 500 ticks chart. Study price overlay is done. The way I think I can resolve that is by adding to this chart the tick remaining study. Then I want to get the value if there is less than 20 ticks left before the closing of the bar. The problem that I have now is that I get 0 on my spredsheet column dedicated to this remaining tick study even if I see the number on the 500 ticks chart. Thanks in advance. |

The Countdown Timer study does not output its value to the spreadsheet studies. And the overlaid 500 tick bars will be based on the destination chart's bars, not the tick chart bars. So you'll need to add the same-named spreadsheet study to the 500 tick chart and calculate the remaining #trades using cells G3 and J37 on its sheet. Put this in H1 (or any non-advancing cell) =J37-G3 Then you can reference cell H1 from the other Sheet#: =Sheet2!H1 where Sheet2 is the 500 tick chart's sheet.
