Hi In reading the setup instructions: "In Sierra Chart, select Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. Press the Update From Server button. Wait for the button to reenable and then press OK. There is not a need to use Full Reset and it is not recommended to do so. This step needs to only be done once." I had already modified all the default server-based settings for all my symbols to redefine session times for day/evening sessions. The instruction above that states that "Update from Server" is required to set up the data feed, means that I'll lose all my customized symbol settings and will need to re do it again for all? Am I getting this right? If so, can I do away without updating from server? Can I save all my custom symbol settings and then reload them? thanks |

We do not think that you need to do an update from Server. So do not do that unless there is an issue. Those instructions are just added for unusual cases where this might be necessary. But this is less the case in newer versions of Sierra Chart.
