Hello SC Support In case the Rithmic Trading Service is the cross platform service then it isn't good thing to cut it from SC, imho. Do you excuse me for the humble suggestion? But ... The suggestion is to block the "Marketdata Part" of the Rithmc GSP Bridge and to make a hard link to the SC Real-Time Datafeed instead. With best regards. |

We could do something like this, but the problem is we need to offer additional exchanges like the EUREX and ICE which are coming. The CME is not enough. The other problem with this is that there are exchange fees that the EUREX and ICE insist upon even if someone has a trading account, so we have to collect those fees. The EUREX is not very much but the ICE is 85 USD per month. The unfortunate thing is that the exchanges let brokers get by without these fees but they insist upon them from data providers. It is just one of those unfair things that exists. The proper solution though is that the exchange should not require the exchange fees from anyone. They make plenty of money from trading fees. Maybe it's just a rumor but FYI: Rithmic, LLC announces that after nearly 8 years as the market data and order routing software component of the Zen-Fire trading solution, it will not be renewing its software license for use in the Zen-Fire solution upon its approaching expiration

Do not think this is a rumor. The fact that this was publicly announced, seems to indicate that there is some kind of problem with the relationship between Rithmic and Zen-Fire. What this actually means though, is that our current Zen Fire users are not going to be able to connect to Zen-Fire at some point in the future. As far as Rithmic and Sierra Chart goes, if Rithmic does not want to continue to have Sierra Chart users, we will offer them to use the Sierra Chart market data feed instead of the Rithmic one in order to reduce bandwidth expenses. At this point, everything is OK. We just want to make sure there is not going to be a future problem by making sure that people who are using Rithmic are actually trading. Edit/Update (2013-12-29): Although current users of the Zen-Fire system will not be able to continue to use Sierra Chart with Zen-Fire, our current and future Rithmic users will be able to continue to use Sierra Chart on the Rithmic system. Within Sierra Chart there are Services named "Rithmic" with several server choices and there is "Zen-Fire".
