control bar button /attached Window

I´have created a "use evening/full session" button on my control bar. How can I use it on a attached window ? THX ! |

We assume you mean to ask how to use the Control Bar button with a Detached window. When the window is attached, you would just use the standard Control Bar buttons that are part of the main Sierra Chart program, as they will affect the active attached window. When a window is detached, you would just need to add the Control Bar that has that button on it to that particular window. You do this through the Window pulldown on the detached window (Window >> Control Bar >> Control Bar n). I asume there is no way to get a contral bar to an attached window? So I would need the "workaround" and detach it and then use "always on top" or so?

When a Window is "Attached" you would use the Control Bar that is part of the Main Sierra Chart window. Just have that particular chart active and select the button as desired. When a window is "Detached", then you would need to put the control bar on that particular window and when you access it, it will always apply to that chart. If you are needing to do something else, then perhaps what you state is what you need to do. yes, I want the buttons to be closer to the window. using buy/sell buttons and its easier than going to top of sierra main chart. anyway, it works my way too, only the always on top window can be anoying....
