Dear Support, I sent you request 29 Nov 2018 "How to organize automatic distribution of product (dll)?" Today is 4 Dec 2018, but I didn't get reply yet. So, that is why I opened new ticket with same question:

"My customer asked me about how to organize automatic distribution of his product (dll). Please look at his request below:

"I think I need to design a solution to automatically authorise users if they download the dll from the website.

Sierra charts provide basic information about their API. The website script for Managing Custom Studies Users is https://www.sierrachart.com/API.php and the method by which the parameters need to be given to the website script is through a POST method. The specifications are Sierra Chart Website APIs: Specifications

My question is, can you recommend a suitable solution for this. For example, do I need to send the information using JSON and perhaps embed that into a form on the website?"

What could you recommend for us? What the way is simplest and effective for us? Thanks! Alex.

1. To clarify, this is a Support Board Thread, and not a ticket.

2. The simplest solution would be to use the "Sierra Chart Custom Studies Access Control Panel" to manually authorize users, this way you will not need to program anything.

If you want to use the API, you will need follow the specifications here:
Sierra Chart Website APIs: Specifications

Those are separate post fields (not JSON).

We cannot design your solution for you.

3. Make sure to refer to the documentation here:

Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Redistributing and Allowing Use Only by a Defined List of Users
