If I try to load ADR-NASDAQ symbol into my chart it will work just fine BUT when I switch to NVOL-NASDAQ symbol it will jam the whole computer because out of the physical memory. I tried this in 2 different computers (Windows 10 & Linux) and the result was the same.

Even if I disconnect the data services (while downloading) it will just continue filling up the memory.

SierraChart version is 1842

You need to remove all studies from that chart and make sure the timeframe per bar is based upon a fixed time. It is not the symbol itself, there must be some study you are using or the timeframe per bar setting, which then based on the settings is using a lot of memory.

By removing all the studies didn't give any help BUT when I switched to fixed time it did. So range bars cannot be used. I can live with this. Thank you.

Edit
Now I understand what was happening. I was using very small Range bars and this was the problem. It was rendering those small range bars. So I should use bigger range bars or switch to the time based chart as I did.
