Error in Message Log since 1842

Since going to 1842 (64 bit), I am recieving the following errors whenever I place a trade using the DOM on the chart:

Trade Activity Log: Error opening C:\SierraChart\TradeActivityLog.data. Windows error code 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. | 2018-11-29 13:56:29 *
Trade Activity Log: Error writing record to TradeActivityLog.data file. Windows error code 32: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. | 2018-11-29 13:56:29 *

Is there any other program accessing this file to your knowledge? It does not make any sense to us for this error to be occurring. We have never seen this before.

I do not know, but I am not aware of any programs accessing this file. Machine is virus free. Can you please advise me how to find out?

So I recall the latest version, 1842 installing but with errors not long ago. This morning, I tried an installation of the prerelease, 1847... & this time noticed the same error message (Windows error code 32); however, it was regarding the SierraChartStudies_64.dll being used by another process, not the TradeActivityLog.datafile

I went to task manager, killed the SierraChart64 processes. Then I went into the C:>SierraChart folder, & deleted the SierraChartStudies_64.dll, & installed the prerelease 1847. No error code in the installer window, installed successfully.

I tested out an order... problem seems to be resolved.

We would be concerned on your side with the errors you are receiving. It seems as though there is some process on your system accessing those files without your knowledge. Even though you have it resolved, why was there an issue to begin with. This is not an issue that we hear about.
