Hello,

before spending too much time on finding out what i want is not possible(i THINK, it is) i would like to have a confirmation that i am good to go.

What i want to achieve:

50+ symbols (rows) and 9 timeframes (columns) for each symbol row. I want each timeframe cell colored depending on the level of the indicators (for now only 2). For example yellow filled out 15min cell if one of the 2 indicators i am tracking is above a treshold, orange if the 2nd indicator is above its treshold and red for both indicators being above their tresholds. Same goes for the indicators being below specific treshold...just using different colors.

Of course this needs sc to scan all symbols constantly intraday and historically.

Would it be better to do the indicator calculation in the charts and import the data into the spreadsheet? Or rather import only the chart price data and do the indicator calculation in the spreadsheet?

What about the performance? Would this slow down my system significantly?

Best Regards

This is all supported by the Study Summary window and the documentation explains all of this in detail. Refer to:
Study Summary Window

But you will have to create your own ACSIL studies to detect your conditions and do the coloring of the Study Summary cells.

Hello,

is it normal, that for EVERY additional symbol a NEW column per study overlay gets drawn?

If i overlay the studies of several timeframes to a single chart in order to get a single row with several study result enries per symbol, then every study value adds an additional column in the study summary.

So if i have 2 symbols, the overlayed study results of the monthly charts, for example, are represented in 2!!! columns and not in a single one.

I used only one study for testing which was the same through all charts(study name is the same). In the overlay containing charts, the overlayed studies had the same IDs across the 2 charts/symbols(i used duplicating chart). I also gave those overlayed studies the same shortnames for each timeframe. I couldnt get it work.

Although...this is not true for a not overlayed study. The chart which contains the overlays has ofc a study itself. These study results are correctly shown in a single column, one below/above the other.
