I know it is unlikely, but I'll add my +1, if it facilitates trade via a Tokyo based server. AMP does not.

I am opening accounts with Singapore and Tokyo based brokers that do offer this... But it means leaving SC.

IBKR only has a HK server. They currently get a considerable amount of our funds.

Just want to give an update here, we are looking into adding JPX. We will have more clear of an idea about this we hope during the next 90 days.

Hi SC, Just giving this a nudge as per your post in #28. Not sure if it fell off the list somehow or if its a no go with no intention.

No it is not something we are going to be offering. It is too costly and not enough interest.

+1 for OSE (and other JPX) data through SC.

While I can understand the upcoming CQG change (Changes to Historical Intraday Data for CQG and Interactive Brokers (January 1, 2021)), I'm left with very few alternatives for historical intraday data for Japanese exchanges in the JPX group (with the mini nikkei as one of the most traded instruments).

I'd be happy to pay for the Denali feed you recommend, if only it would have support for these exchanges.

Trading View is the easy use solution for JPX historical.

JPX needs led me there. And now it is the only platform I use to analyze and trade several global markets and products (eod basis)

If TV ever get a connection to IBKR, they will be formidable.

Why is there an issue? You can just use the data provided by CQG.

Yes indeed, but when it comes to getting historical intraday data, CQG is limited. Also, your support for the intermediary service that maintains historical data for CQG will end soon, which will probably even limit the amount of data I can get on these instruments even more.

So do you need more historical data than the current contracts? CQG does maintain the full history for the current contracts.

Yes, for certain backtesting and market replay, it would be good to have more data than what I seem to get right now.
I currently only get about 5 days of tick data and about 90 days of 1-second data.

This does not make sense to us. You should have full tick by tick data at this time. Can you tell us one of the particular symbols you see this historical data for. So we can look into this.

I'm having this issue with F.US.MJNK (mini-nikkei) on OSE.

Ok now that we checked again, effective about two or three months ago, we stopped maintaining historical data for that exchange on CQG. So currently that all comes from CQG. So our planned shutdown of the historical data service for CQG is not going to change what you get for that exchange.

Perhaps this isn't the best place to post this, but is it true that server side OCO orders (MJNK/OSE) are not supported via CQG? I've noticed in sim mode that when I have working OCO orders and my PC goes to sleep, price can move through my working orders and not get triggered. Is this the case for live trading this instrument as well?

All of this could be easily remedied if SC would just bite the bullet and offer JPX/OSE yen-denominated Nikkei 225 (MJNK) on their data. It is only the THIRD most liquid market in the world (after ES and ZN), and btw you have plenty of support from some very notable traders in this discussion.

Do the right thing SC...if you want to legitimize your data feed once and for all, this would certainly help your case.

If you build it THEY WILL COME!

Server-side OCO is supported with CQG. And there is not a way to even disable that with CQG. It is inherently enabled. But the condition is that the parent order has to be filled for the OCO orders to be sent to CQG and therefore to the exchange.

The problem with JPX, is that it is very expensive. Really just as expensive as EUREX, in the range of 15,000 USD plus per month. Probably even higher if we have to consider other infrastructure costs.

Why don't you poll your users to gauge interest. I would suggest a simple surveymonkey email or the like. You will find that you have significant interest.

Third most liquid market, great evening hours for those with day jobs, etc.

Lots of reasons why this instrument could be valuable to folks...

Also, what gives with the historical data, is it still limited from CQG? Historical charts will not load more than 450 days or so...

What is SC's latest position when it comes to supporting JPX with Denali? With this mess about no longer offering services via AMP or other brokers, there are certainly a lot of reasons to look for alternative platforms. Perhaps SC can use the incremental revenue from reneging on the AMP promo to fund the JPX data????

Since SC have now decided to keep their existing SC data feed services indefinitely - is it possible to get JPX exchange available through that feed soon?

No that is not going to come at all. JPX support is not going to come. Put absolutely no reliance whatsoever on this. This is definitively not coming at all.
