I have a watchlist connected to 6 charts, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and p&f
as i move between the stocks in the list the autoscale of the axis sometimes does not work well. i.e. if I move to C (City) the quarterly does not scale at all (even though i show quarters fall within the range of 50-70$
1. is it an issue with some stocks only? or is there a settings i can do to make it work?
2. would it make sense to store axis scales (both X and Y) as part of the stock information (as you do with graphics)
3. a more serious issue is with the p&f chart, which is very sensitive to stock price in the box size property. so setting this in the study does not work across various stocks. you do provide percentage of the list price, the setting by nature is not linear and does not work well across stocks
a. is there a way to save this value as part of the stock's data?
b. or alternatively, provide more modes for auto sizes. two modes come to mind are shown here https://stockcharts.com/docs/doku.php?id=other-tools:pnf-charts (traditional and ATR based)

--- extract from the site, for traditional---
Traditional scaling uses a predefined table of price ranges to determine what the box size should be. The table was originally created by the people at ChartCraft and later popularized by Tom Dorsey in his book ”Point & Figure Charting.”
Price Range  Box Size
Under 0.25  0.0625
0.25 to 1.00  0.125
1.00 to 5.00  0.25
5.00 to 20.00  0.50
20.00 to 100  1.00
100 to 200  2.00
200 to 500  4.00
500 to 1,000  5.00
1,000 to 25,000  50.00
25,000 and up  500.00
