How to stop conditional alerts being triggered when changing time frame

I'm using 'High/Low for Time Period - Extended' study. Alert condition is
=OR(ID3.SG1[0] > ID3.SG1[-1], ID3.SG2[0] < ID3.SG2[-1])
, so it is triggered when 'last price' crosses the high low. I have about 16 charts up and occasionally, all linked, and will regularly flick through time frames. I noticed though that the alerts get triggered anew every time I switch time frame, so each time there's basically heaps of sirens for 1 minute, which is really annoying. Any way for me around this problem?

There is no way to prevent this. Other than creating your own custom study to accomplish what you want.

But you can also cancel the pending alerts through Global Settings >> Clear Alert Sound Queue.
