IB intraday volume wont show without manual download

I am having issues with getting intraday volume on stocks from IB brokers, it don't update unless i right click on chart " delete and download data " and then it only updates up to 15 minutes from current time. The daily charts seem to show correct volume.

so if i understand this when i do manual download and update on chart actually i was getting the data from Sierra historical right ? And that is why i see a delay in the update which makes data 15 or so minutes behind ? I did try what the instructions link said to do for turning off Sierra support for data feeds and changing multiplier to 100 and then i updated and i got no volume showing. So I just put it back to where it was by default.
