Hello,

Are there any plans to add a $TICK statistic for the Nikkei 225 - similar to the NYSE $TICK? The CME contract has some decent volume in the evening session. I guess getting access to the Japanese stock data could be a expensive challenge.

Thanks,

WT

No because the exchanges are hell-bent with not allowing this.

I already wrote a custom chart that will do a tick index - just need the stock data. Probably will cost a pretty penny. Myabe CQG has something. CQG has access to the Japanese futures market.

Hi WT
Only choice subscribe Japanese stock data from non Japanease resident is IB.
IB symbol limit is 100. You have to pay extra charge for IB.
Probably CQG does not have Tick index data.
You can try eSignal. But they are expensive and slow.

WT, fyi, the CME Nikkei contract is garbage. You should trade the mini Nikkei on the OSE. It's the most liquid futures contract in Asia, and trades more volume than NQ, YM, CL, etc. (about half the volume of ES)
