GLD is the only chart I'm having trouble with. When I delete/download data, it does seem to update, but I get "download failed" and then the chart basically freezes and does not stream data.

Is GLD the correct symbol for SPDR Gold Shares?

How do I fix this? thanks.

We see you are using Interactive Brokers.

Update Sierra Chart to the current version:

I have followed all the instructions -- updated to most recent SC and I already had SC Historical Data Service setup.

For some reason, GLD (and only GLD) does not update in real time. I have dozens of other symbols open, but only have this problem with GLD.

If I delete/download data, the chart will update, but I get a "Download Failed" error and then the chart stays frozen.


Again, this only happens with GLD. I've never had this issue with any other chart and I'm using SC Historical Data Service as per the guide.

We have added the complete GLD symbol to File >> Find Symbol >> Specific Stocks. Youu need to use that complete symbol.

To see it, follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
