Support Reversals and Allow Multiple Entries In Same Direction not work on version1834

Hi Support Team, Long time Sierrachart user for 10 years. Recent I tested "Support Reversals and Allow Multiple Entries In Same Direction" for Trading System Based on Alert Condition. setup: Maximum Position Allowed 5 Order Quantity 1 First buy on first bar close is working: buy 1 Second buy on second bar close is not working, didn't add second buy 1. and Reversal is not happening: if I have 1 buy order and next 1 sell order cannot flat buy order and add 1 sell order. Please validate ASAP and advise. Thanks Peter |

We did test Allow Multiple Entries In Same Direction and see why there is a problem. This will be solved in the next release. We also implement to the same solution for Support Reversals. Support Reversals and Allow Multiple Entries In Same Direction were added on user request and they were not tested. They just simply set the underlying automated trading variables which do work properly. The reason for the issue has to do with other safety checks that the Trading System Based on Alert Condition performs which prevented these Settings from having any effect. I am having the same issue with no reversals happening. Reversal is not happening: if I have 1 sell order position filled and the next 1 buy order cannot flatten the existing position and issue new buy order . This is in SC version 2466. Support Reversals is ticked in the preferences. Cancel all Orders on Reversals is ticked in the preferences. |
