Notice: Version 1833 Exception Issue with Trades List

Due to recent development done on October 28 with the Trades list, to improve performance further, this has resulted in an exception issue that we are now aware of which was released in version 1833. We are going to lock this version out today. If you are running version 1833 update to version 1834 with Help >> Download Pre-release: Software Download: Fast Update This update will happen automatically now if you restart Sierra Chart and you are running version 1833. For further details, this issue we do not think would cause an abnormal shutdown of Sierra Chart but you may see a message in the Message Log indicating a memory allocation failure. In general, when there is an issue like this, it will be considered a stability issue by us and immediately corrected and the version locked out. The problem occurs, when a trade in the Trades list is split into two due to the exit Fill quantity being smaller than the quantity of the trade. The problem was at that time, a reference to an existing trade, may have moved in memory. In that case invalid memory was being accessed which could lead to an exception. This exception was caught though and incorrectly reported as a memory allocation failure. Furthermore, the reason this issue had developed is because the older implementation of the Trades list and Trade Statistics was not of the best overall code organization, references were being held to trades, and that is what led to the problem.
