My broker has contacted GAIN and has had them disconnect me. However, when I tried to reconnect again. Still the same 'UserAlreadyConnected' message.

That message is from Gain Capital. We simply do not control this and this is a problem on their side. We have no control over this whatsoever and it really is very sad that users are suffering over their inability to solve this or to explain this for you if you have more than one connection at the same time.
