Is there a way to display a text below a bar of the Average Daily Range. What I want is instead of a bar based study in a separate chart region I want to display the range of the bar in a text below the bar. This would be for say 30 minuted bars.

Also can this be done on the TPO profile, so when I look at the study I can see the current range of the TPO profile

Thanks

This can be done with this study:
True Range

Or:
Average Daily Range

You will need to set the Draw Style to Value on Low and the Chart Region to 1.

This is not supported on a TPO Profile Chart.

Thanks - however is there any study or setting like those in the VbP study like the Display Profile Volume, Entire High & Low, AV-BV etc. that will display in text like these the Range of the Profile

Unless the VbP data is available as a Subgraph, it is not something that can be directly used to display on a chart. For example, the Profile Volume is not available to be taken from the Volume by Price study and then displayed, as it is internally calculated. The Trade Weighted Mean Price, however, is available from the VbP study, as it is Subgraph SG12, so you could use the Text Display for Study study to display that value on the chart. The documentation for that study can be found here: Text Display For Study

Additionally, the Numbers Bars Calculated Values contains a lot of data that you may be interested in. If there is a particular item in there that you want to display above or below a bar, then you would add the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study to the chart (you could hide the study if you do not want to see the values anywhere but on the bars) and then add the Study Subgraph As Text Above/Below Bar study to display the particular data above/below the bars. You will find the documentation for this here: Study Subgraph As Text Above/Below Bar

Understood and Thank you. It would be a good add for the subgraph and seems easy as the High and Low is available as is the AV-BV so to have the High -Low would seem easy and useful. Just a friendly suggestion.

Hi John - I was able to do what I wanted. See the picture below and notice the value below each profile- that is the Total range of the the day.
