Hi,

I am using latest version 1828, with LMAX broker. When I enter a position, it doesn't display the Position Line ( I suspect also doesn't update positioning in other areas, because I have an ACSIL code to manage breakeven and trailing and that also breaks ).
The workaround for me, is after being in the trade, I toggle "show order fills" or switch the method for calculating "Open position average calculation" ( it can be to any from any, can switch it to the same method ). After that the position average line appears and also my code starts working properly.

Can you guys help/fix it ?

Thanks !

Surprised there would be an issue with this, but we are doing some testing now.

We cannot reproduce any problem with this and we cannot see any reason why this would occur either. When you look at the Position quantity and average price display:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Position Quantity@Price: / P: (Compact tab)

Does it show the correct quantity? Is there any change with the position quantity when you open the Chart Settings window and click OK?

When you observe this, we will need you to provide the Trade Activity log file:

And we need you to provide the chart:

and we need to know the time zone in the chart:

I just did a bunch of tests, both live and in the lmax demo account ( not simulation mode, but trading connection to lmax demo ).

It both happens in live and in demo connections.

I cannot reproduce the problem either in v1829, but I can in v1828. So, the issue is fixed in v1829 only, to find the problem and reproduce it, you can try with v1828.

Do you still want my logfiles and chartbooks to find out what the issue was, or do you want to try to reproduce with v1828 ?

Thanks!

Well, if you are no longer seeing it we think it is best to just simply let this go, especially with as busy as we are and understanding how this functionality works. But if you do have the problem let us know because this is not something which should occur under any condition. And at that time we will test again.
