Hi I am trying to get real time data for $SPX and ESZ18. If I shut the SC down and restart, it connects green bar and update historically but not real time? What am I missing?

To receive the real-time CME data you need to connect Sierra Chart to your trading account as explained here:

To get real-time data for the S&P 500 cash index you need to use the symbol $INX and activate the S&P Indices exchange here:
