Hi,

Today LMAX data froze at least 3 times on GDAXI, it was completely stuck.
Here is a 1 min chart on GDAXI, after a history reload

Time is GMT+2.

Can you check the server ?

Thanks

I did notice that live data was not moving at all for less than 5 minutes during US trading time.

We did see several lost connections to LMAX today. We are planning to move to a different data center. We will try to have this complete within the next three weeks.

And also at some point we should add a redundant connection but is just that we do not have a whole lot of LMAX users. But anyway we will go ahead and ask LMAX for a redundant connection and get that set up.

We did contact LMAX now for the redundant connection. We will get the issue resolved.

There is no evidence of a problem currently or previously on our server. The connection has been maintained to LMAX for what looks like at least more than a day. The data is updating fine. So if there is an issue it must be something else.

Are you still noticing an issue?

Our only conclusion is you had lost connectivity to our server. There was no issue on our server, or any lost to connection LMAX. And there is no missing data either.

Also we do have a redundant connection from LMAX and we are setting up an additional server. So we will have that in place in about a week or so. So going forward once that is in place, there will no longer be any possibility of lost data.

no I did not lose connection because
1. I don't have auto reconnect on so I would have needed to reconnect
2. I don't have any disconnects in the log.

And there are definitly missing data (see LMAX vs IG, and I did a redownload data).

Time is Paris time GMT+2

For reference we always look at the symbol EURUSD and there was no missing data there. It is quite clear this was an LMAX interruption. So the issue was on the LMAX side. This is quite clear.

There is no problem with the processing of the data feed on the Sierra Chart side. We always use EURUSD as a reference and the feed has maintained a connection and there is no missing data. We do see missing data with the DAX CFD but you have to ask LMAX about this.

We still have not completed the other server but it should be done this evening. But that is not going to change this at all. The updates are stopping from LMAX for that particular CFD.

One thing that we considered that could be a potential problem is the filtering of the live price data due to an error or other reason.

With the interruption with the DAX CFD, there was no error filtering from our side. But we will see if there is any other potential reason.

We have verified there was no filtering on our side at the time of the interruption this morning.
