ver 1809. I have 4 charts displayed two attached and two detached. Right mouse clicking on the "attached" charts does not retrieve the submenu it normally does, as it does on the "detached" charts.

Do you have Global Settings >> Tool Settings >>Right Click Exits Current Drawing Tool enabled?

If not we would need to look into this issue with remote assistance. But even if you do, we still need to understand the problem completely.

It was not enabled. Enabling it has no effect on the problem I'm experiencing. I'm going to run a memory test on my machine t try to ensure I do not have a hardware problem. I will advise of the outcome.

No, this could not be a hardware problem. There very well may be something going wrong on our side that we are not aware of.

When you have the issue just let us know and we would like to call and look at this with remote assistance.

fwiw, no hardware problems. The issue remains: neither of my two attached charts will display the right mouse-click associated menu, and only one of my two detached charts will display the menu. I can resolve the issue by using Chart/Duplicate Chart to re-create both attached and detached charts and the expected right mouse-click menu appears: so I'm good. Is this worth bothering with? I will keep the menu-less charts as part of my display until I hear back about your preferences. Thank you.

Attach the chart you are having issues with by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

We will see if we can duplicate the issue. Does the issue go away after a restart of Sierra Chart?

The issue does not go away with either a Sierra or a computer restart. Attached is the file you requested. However, the chart in this new chartbook does not have the problem I've referre to.

I've had this same or similar problem sporadically also. It goes even further in that the right click on the vertical price column doesn't register to move or increase and decrease the chart range also. Usually when this has happened, if I select another chart tab and go back to my original chart with the issue it will work properly again. Again, this is NOT consistent behavior but has been frequent enough that I don't believe it's just a fluke.

Just another data point if it helps anyone. My workaround is pretty straight forward but of course it "shouldn't" work that way ;^)

Thanks -- Scott

This indicates that this is going to be a Windows operating system issue but we will double check and be sure.

We can see the potential that this is an issue that would not be an operating system issue and instead within Sierra Chart. We are looking at how this could happen and what can be done to avoid it.

Attach the Chartbook you are having a problem with following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

And let us know the particular Chart Number of the chart you have a problem with.

I dealt with the issue by removing the detached chart I was having trouble with, then duplicating an attached version of the chart, finally detaching that newly created duplicate. The newly detached copy does not have the problem. When the problem again arises, I will follow your instructions and submit a chartbook. Thank you.

Yes. Because it sounds like we should be able to reproduce it and determine the problem and we would like to find out what the issue is and solve it.

Today the issue exists with an attached chart. I followed your instructions for duplicating the problemed chart to a new chartbook. Unfortunately, the new chart does NOT have the problem. Similarly, as I mentioned yesterday, when I simply duplicate the chart to my existing chartbook, I do not have the problem. I'd be happy to send you the new chartbook you requested, but since the problem does not exist there, is it really of any use?

What we want you to do though is just attach the Chartbook as it is when you have the issue:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

Not do any duplication.
