Hello,

I draw support and resistance lines on my 1hr chart which are copied to my 5min chart, but as of lately the lines no longer correspond accurately on my 5 min chart as before. The are off and not set correctly.

I have same charts settings. Version 1808

Can you please give me an idea as to why it is now different?

Than you

Regards

Based on how you have described this it could be a scale issue. Refer to:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting

Make sure that you are using an Automatic Scale Range for those lines.

We do not see any problems with the drawings in the chartbook that you gave us. The Anchor Points are being properly copied to another chart and the lines are drawn appropriately given the timeframes.

The one thing we want to point out is that due to these drawings coming from different timeframe charts, they may appear to show something that may not show in all timeframes. For example, if a drawing has a starting point of 15:15:00, and is then copied to a 60 min chart that displays on the hour, then that first anchor point is going to be tied to the bar that contains that 15:15:00 time, which would be 15:00:00. It is possible that that bar has a low that occurred prior to 15:15:00 but after 15:00:00, in which case it would appear to cross the wick, but in a 5 minute timeframe it would not show this crossing since it will be tied to the 15:15:00 bar in that timeframe.
