Sierra Chart real-time CME data with AMP Futures trading integration

I know you guys are annoyed by these questions so I apologize in advance. Let's say I want to trade CME futures via AMP Futures brokerage using Sierra Chart's own real-time live CME data instead of the CQG live data that's provided by AMP. The Sierra Chart live CME feed supports the CQG live trading account trading service. Well I talked to AMP today and they said that if I want to do this, I would still have to subscribe to the live CQG data service since my orders would have to be routed via CQG. So if we break the costs down, it becomes like this: 1) $15/month for the CQG live data I pay directly from my AMP brokerage account for full CME group with market depth data 2) $0.10/contract CQG data routing cost 3) $35/month for Sierrachart live data feed (100 symbols) 4) $15/month for the Sierrachart live data I pay directly from my Sierra account for full CME group with market depth data Now I'm really confused b/c as much as I would love to use the high quality Sierra Chart data feed, I don't want to pay $15 TWICE per month, once via AMP, and once via Sierra Chart. Why do I have to pay for the CQG live feed when I won't be using it? That sounds highly unreasonable and I hope the AMP customer service agent was simply misinformed. Can you clarify this? This becomes worse if I'm also trading Eurex and HKEX futures since it would be ($21 + $21 + $12.75 + $12.75). LOL That makes no sense; please tell me I am wrong. |

Also the answer to your question, you do not need to pay for the CQG data feed to have orders routed through CQG. That is definitely unnecessary. We know that definitively.

Hi guys, Looks like this problem is solved ? I’ve just contacted AMP support desk, They said I could use Sierra Chart TT Denali feed without double spending. Right ? |

We are reaffirming what is said in post #3 above. So you can use the Denali data feed with CQG. That is not a problem.
