| Hello, I have a daily chart (#4) and a 5-min chart (#2). I want to display the 20-EMA daily in the 5-min chart : - I have added the Study/Price Overlay study on the 5-min chart, set to reference the chart #4 (then, the daily bars are correctly displayed in region 2) - I have added the Moving Average Exponential to the 5-min chart, setting "Based On" on the daily bars. The daily 20-EMA is something like 4220. But on the 5min chart, the values are not good at all : 7, 10, 300. And the value change at each 5-min bar !... I must miss something obvious but can't figure what it is. Thanks. |

| I am pretty sure you have to apply the 20-EMA to the daily chart and then overlay the Daily 20-EMA on the 5 minute chart. If you want to see the daily chart on the 5 minute chart, then you can still overlay that as well. |

| The EMA of the overlaid daily bars on the 5 min chart will use the 5 min bars for the Length. Put the EMA on the daily chart and add another Study/Price Overlay study to the 5 min chart to bring over the daily EMA. |

| Post #2 and 3 are correct. You need to put the Exponential moving average on the Daily chart and then overlay it onto your 5 minute chart.
