Is there a feature that allows for a line to track the RTH (real time hours/pit/electronic session) mid (50% of the days range)? I'm looking for this line to track in real time as the day is unfolding.

Hi, I am doing a trial for Sierra and I am using the study called Daily OHLC and have it configured for the High, Low and Mid of the day.

You can see it here. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1537323619934.png

I do not know if there is an easier way or another way bu this is what I found.

Thank u for the prompt response, the picture looks like the HLOC is taken from ydays range. I clarified on the question by saying I was looking for the mid as the day was unfolding in real time. Besides using halfback on the market profile im out of resources myself. Once u split the letters on the profile u lose the capability to see the current mid.

That is because the session time is for that chart is set to RTH. During RTH it updates live.

Here is a chart with the previous day session and tonight's session. You can see the MID.

And here is a chart of the Market Profile including tonight's session with the MID

Again I am new to Sierra but the Session times dictate what is updated when as far as I understand.

Set the 'Reference Days Back' to 0 to get values of the current day.

Set the 'Graph High and Low Historically' to Yes to get the values to step as the day progresses.

Set the HL Avg (SG9) to Dash Solid for the Mid.

I have been using the the Daily OHLC study to mark the halfback on my charts... I would like to use it to show the HB for the RTH session and then reset for the Evening session... I can not for the life of me figure out how to make that happen. I can set it to do just RTH. I can set it to do evening and RTH but I can't figure out how to set it to reset for RTH and Reset for Evening session. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Doug

The best way to do this is to add an RTH only chart and a Globex only chart to your chartbook (you can minimize these), each with the Daily OHLC study, then overlay each on the 24hr chart using two instances of the Study/Price Overlay study. Set the 'Bar Time Matching Method' to Containing Match and the 'Fill Blanks With Last Value' to No.

You won't need the Daily OHLC study on the 24hr chart.
