Last daily bar is always wrong with certain markets

Since exploring some Hong Kong futures, I notice that the last daily bar is always wrong and Sierra will always try to connect the datafeed and refresh this bar to make it wrong. Please see the attached daily chart and also the intraday 60m chart so you can see how different and nonsense the last daily bar is.

This is because the daily High and/or Low values are not correct from the Barchart Open Feed on the current day at this time. If you continue to notice this on Monday and other days, let us know and we will let Barchart know about it. This is continuing to be a problem every day on both HSI and H-shares futures. It only ever affects the last daily bar.

Okay we will contact Barchart about this. Message: The Hong Kong futures data on Open Feed is providing Daily High data which does not correspond to the last 24 hours of trading. It is higher than any recorded value in the last 24 hours.
For example for HSU18, the current daily high is 26840, but this price has not been reached in the last 24 hours. We saw a more extreme example this past Friday. To SC Engineers and the OP: FYI See this thread here: Osaka Nikkei 225 Mini Specifically my post #22 onwards. BarChart had the same issue getting historical daily data correct for the Nikkei 225 mini. It was not resolved as at the last post in the thread I quote - at which point I gave up with this data/symbol/feed so I do not know if Barchart ever sorted it - but given the OP comments about the HK exchange feed, I would suspect not. |

Thanks SC staff. Today the last daily bar low is wrong (it is still using the previous day low as its low) for both Hang Seng Futures and H-shares Futures.

Okay it is enough we just let them know that the daily high is off because once they resolve that, that will take care of the daily low as well.
