Potential Break Even Button Issue

Engineering,

I'm using v1798 but I've noticed this behavior in the last version or so but haven't analyzed it yet. When I place multiple entries, the Average Price flag works properly and calculates my Break Even as it should (I also use Support Scale In and Support Scale Out). When I use my Break Even button on the Trade Window, instead of moving my attached stop to the Average Price +2 ticks (how I've set mine up) it flattens my position at the current price.

I've attached 2 screen shots showing an order with 3 entries and the correct average price. The second attachment shows the Exit Price (7447.50) where my orders where sold when I expected my Stop to be moved to 7446.25 which would be the 3 order average price plus 2 ticks.

Is this expected behavior?

Thanks -- Scott

We will be testing this. We just have not yet gotten to this.

Any development on this yet? It appears to still be not working as of v1828 unless there are setting changes that I need to make that I'm not aware of.

Thanks much,

Scott

We apologize for this. We were going to get to it yesterday but did not. We will try to do a review today.

At the time you pointed this out, this was shortly after we have worked on the calculation and we were certain the calculation was correct. So it had gotten deferred until later but we did not expect it to be this long.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed something. With all the dev work and forum communication you do it’s hard (as your team certainly knows) to keep up with all the changes at times.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Okay we do see the problem and we apologize for this and being so long to get to it. It is being corrected now. The issue that we were solving previously had to do with when there were multiple targets and two or more stops linked together. The calculation for the move to breakeven reference price was calculated to be correct in that case.

There is a calculation error when there is only a single stop and target order or just a single stop order. Nothing serious, but just that the breakeven price level, does not change much from the original parent order price.

THANK YOU SC Engineering, the Break Even functionality for multiple entries appears to be working well in v1831.

This makes my (and I assume others) trading life MUCH easier.
