Message log appears and screen locks. Random shut down

I sent a log when it popped up. Not able to send the logs when the screen locked.

When you say the screen locks, does this happen when you perform a particular action? Or is it just random?

What we would like to do is have you show us this issue and then we will see what is best to do. Also what version does this occur with?

The times that it locked I was changing values on a Horizontal Lines study on a chart, something that I do on a regular basis. Never had the issue before.

It is important to us that we get this problem understood and resolved as quickly as possible. We have other reports of users having issues with the spreadsheet component in version 1785 and up but that has mostly been resolved in 1794. But no reports of an issue with 1781.

The phone number is correct. I am on US Pacific time. As part of the request I also checked for an update in case the problem had been addressed. I can't say for sure which version I was on when the issue occurred, but now I am on 1781 32 bit. I do have multiple spreadsheets in this chartbook. After updating the software I had no further issues today. If you want to contact that is fine but you may want to wait to see if the update solved my issue, since you said there had been none in 1781 and I am there now. Thanks

Yes we will wait and see if you have any issue in 1781. We would expect not and let us know if you do or you do not because that information is important to us for isolating the particular revision range where there has been a problem.

Resolving this issue is a very high priority for us. We are working on it now. The recent issues have arisen related to the ongoing performance improvements.
