Hi,

Is it possible to change/add the "Graph Only Quantities Greater or Equal to" input to allow % of current order book as a fixed number doesn't make sense imo?

Thanks

Hi,

I would second that. That's the missing peace compared to bookmap. Having a dynamic for visible levels based on percentage of the orderbook and more coloring options would be great! See example attached.

Thanks
Norman

We will look this over when we work on the Market Depth Historical Graph later on.

Hi Sierra,

any news regarding the work on the Market Depth? It would be awesome to not have to adapt the levels every day according to the current liquidity and just have the coloring set by % of book or something similar.

Thanks in advance
Norman

There have been a few changes to the Market Depth Historical Graph study that will be out in the next Pre-Release (v1850). These include the following:
- New options for how to display the Quantity numbers, in which a new option allows for the numbers to only be displayed after the last bar.
- The ability to select what data is displayed after the last bar - Last or Maximum.
- The ability to set the Graph Only Quantities Greater or Equal To as an Actual Value or as a Percentage of Maximum Depth.

While testing the new % of depth I found out that it would be very helpful if we can set a limit of the maximum depth levels to be shown on the chart or to be used for the calculation of the % value.

I limited this in the settings of the chart but it seemed to have no effect on the shown levels.

Am I missing something?

Thanks
Norman

Two new options are available with the Market Depth Historical Graph with release 1870. These are the following:
- New coloring options that allow for 4 Ask colors and 4 Bid colors. The percentages at which the different colors are used can be specified. The documentation is still being worked on that will explain how these color options work.
- The ability to limit the total number of depth levels displayed. The entered number is the total number of depth levels (Ask and Bid). The data is centered on the Last price for a given bar.

Could you please add this kind of info in the changelog https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php ?

You do a lot of effort in developping new features but it is not acceptable that things change without communication to users

thanks

It will be in the Changelog. We just do not put out an updated Changelog for every release. It is usually every few releases which then includes the information for the past few releases.
