I run an automated system that uses two MAs to fire signals. If I make any change to the chart the lines go dormant and eventually disappear. THe arrows that indicate a signal also disappear. This occurs on all my charts. The system stops firing signals and will not work. In Manual mode the Same thing happens if there is any interface with the chart by me. I would like an engineer to remote onto my computer and see what is causing this and repair it.

We have called and used remote assistance and we have confirmed the problem to be that Spreadsheet formulas are getting cleared for an unknown reason. We are looking into the issue and will resolve in the next couple of days or as soon as we can.

We are going to put out a new release later today. We think the problem is related to optimizations in the internal spreadsheet component. We have now reverted that most recent change which occurred about a month ago. So we will want you to test with the latest version coming out later today.

Prerelease version 1794 has been released. We would like you to test with that. This is a prerelease and here are the instructions to update:

If you want to just test this as a separate installation you can do that. Follow the instructions here to make a copy of your existing installation:
Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Simple Transfer/Copy of Sierra Chart Installation to Another Folder or Computer System

After that, just update that installation to the latest prerelease.

The 1794 version did not work. Same problem as before. I downloaded the 1781 Sierra version and it works perfectly.

We need to go over this with you because it is possible you were not running 1794. If you do not have the issue with 1781, then we would expect that 1794 would have resolved the issue.

Ok I'll try it again. I followed the link you gave me and the instructions. It said 1794 in the upper left corner of the chart.

We have definitively corrected the issue which is the cause of the problem described in this thread. Version 1795 has been released. This is now the main release of Sierra Chart.

It was a lower level minor memory corruption issue.
