[Locked] - "Use These Symbol Settings in New Instances When Started" does not work

I have the "Use These Symbol Settings in New Instances When Started" setting checked in Global Settings yet whenever I create a new instance, the symbol settings from the main instance never get saved onto the new instances. I assume this is not a feature since your documentation LITERALLY states "To use the same Symbol Settings as set in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings , in sub instances of Sierra Chart started through File >> New Instance, then enable Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Use These Symbol Settings in New Instances When Started in the server instance of Sierra Chart." So clearly this is a bug. Yet you deleted my previous post for this so hopefully I can bring this to your attention again. If you aren't going to fix this, the least you can do is tell me so instead of censoring. |

We still have to look into this. The other post was deleted because that was your second post about this. This is the original one which is still there: Is it okay to copy chart data files from main to second instance? So now this is your third post so we have to decide whether we are going to delete this post or the other post. Please do not post again. We are locking this thread. We determined that the Symbol Settings may get overwritten on a completely new instance when you first use File >> New Instance, but it does work properly on the subsequent times with that option enabled.
