Opening Chartbook causing Sierra to crash

The Chartbook I have been using for the past week is having issues today. When I try to open the cart book it opens up all charts and dome then freezes and says "not responding" I tried to open a new chart and when I do that chart seems to work fine, but once I open my chartbook it freezes.
