[Programming Help] - volume at price treshold alert V2

Hi, I use studie "Volume at price treshold alert V2" and I need to extend line until intersection with input "highliht adjacent alert minimum group size"line. Have you got any ideas? best SR Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-08-04 13:45:22

There are a few things you could be asking for here, so we will go through each possible one. First, we see no problem with the option for Draw Extension Lines in the current version of this study. It is simply drawing an extension line from where each alert is located until it intersects a bar ahead of it in time. This functionality does not change when using the option Highlight Adjacent Alerts Minimum Group Size. Second, if you are asking to have the extension lines associated with the grouping when using the Highlight Adjacent Alerts Minimum Group Size, then this is not something that has been implemented directly. If the following does not work, then we would need more information on what you want to see from this functionality so we can see if we can add it in. You can, however, use the Extend Bar Value Until Future Intersection study to put on the lines. You would need to set the Based On for the study to the Volume At Price Threshold Alert V2 and then in the Input Data from Bar for Extension Lines you would select the Adjacent Alert Highlight Top 1 for the top of the first grouping. You may need to add additional Extend Bar Value Until Future Intersection studies to deal with multiple groupings on a single bar, if that is what you are looking for. Be aware, however, that the Future Intersection does not work exactly the same when basing this study on an item like in this case, so review this carefully to see if it will work for you. Hi, Thank for a reply, I tried but doesn't work with studie "extend bar value until...." (see image below), it seems that the line continues to the other "Highlight Adjacent Alerts Minimum Group Size" value. I added image below with what I wish to do. Best SR |
