Bid&Depth Bars: BID-ASK is not calculating the difference properly using 10 levels of depth.

You cannot control the number of levels of market depth when using the Time and Sales data. It is all levels and the documentation does explain this. Always refer to the documentation. There is no problem here.

The number of levels is not the issue. The issue is that 1780(Bid Total)-1730 (Ask Total) is not equal to 3745 (Bid-ask depth bars).

We see you are using Rithmic which provides more than 10 levels of market depth.

Your calculations are not correct. There is no way that study could be providing an incorrect result.

There is a setting in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings to control the number of market depth levels displayed. We will use that setting when calculating the total market depth quantities for the time and sales data. This will be in the next release.

This will solve the problem for services that provide extended market depth.
