I want to create keybindings. I tried setting F1 to "buy market".....the assignment tool didn't flag any warnings regarding whether F1 was already in use or not. so now, every time i hit F1 i SC opens a browser help window AND makes a buy market order. is there a way to check what keys are already bound by default? if not how can i open the file above and just do a ctrl+F search for specific keys? thanks |

F1 is going to be interpreted at the operating system level and probably cannot be reassigned. Also you cannot directly edit the KeyboardShortcuts.config file. You can see the existing assignments just by browsing through the menus. They are on the menus. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. i don't want to edit KeyboardShortcuts.config file.....I just want to search through it, since it contains ALL keybindings in a single file. that is more efficient than visually inspecting the menus for keybindings. |

We do not see how you can logically interpret KeyboardShortcuts.config. It is not human readable.
