Global Settings for Include in Spreadsheet

Is there a global setting that keeps the "Include in spreadsheet" checkboxes enabled? It's a pain to go through 200 studies with 20 subgraphs to check each include in spreadsheet. It used to include everything. I understand a speed issue but could we have an option to make the default to include all?

Thanks

No there is not a global setting but by default this option is checked. Even for existing studies.

In the next release we will make sure that this is enabled for existing studies. But this would cause a disruption though for users who have deliberately unchecked it though.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with this. Barring a switch allowing us to include or exclude studies in Spreadsheets by default, I prefer to NOT have these included by Default. I don't need or want 50 studies from a chart included in my Spreadsheet running a strategy off 5 of them. Nor do I want new studies I may want to look at automatically added to an existing spreadsheet linked to that chart.

Thanks.

Until this option was recently added, outputs to spreadsheets have always been included by default, and it's not been a problem before.

SC:
- Please keep 'Include In Spreadsheet' checked by default when adding a study, for the study itself, and for all of its subgraphs.
- Please don't force my deliberately unchecked studies/subgraphs to be checked.
- Please don't add a global setting. It would not solve the problem of which study or subgraph needed to be included/excluded in the spreadsheet.

Tom, I was just adding another users (mine) data point for consideration. I've never liked it, I'm just commenting here because Andreas commented on this post and I agree it's a PITA for me also. I don't understand though why adding a global switch would negatively impact either camp unless the mere act of adding the functionality would reset everyone's current settings?

I'll muddle on regardless ;^)

I like the option, but the default should be what it used to be, IMO. Otherwise it creates confusion and support requests.

I'm assuming a global setting would reset current settings, otherwise you'd need another option on each study, and each subgraph, to not use the global setting.
