Days to load not working consistently on stock charts

I'm using Sierra Charts to monitor stocks. I have noticed that anytime there is a big gap in a stock price from one day to the next, the chart history/days to load on my intraday charts only shows the current day's data.

As a result all my moving averages on my 20m and 2hr charts are incorrect because they are missing the previous days data.

I've tried deleting the data and refreshing, and modifying the days to load value but it doesn't change anything. Even on days where there isn't a big gap sometimes it loads less than the specified 'days to load' value. I want it to load the past 10 days data every time on all my intraday charts, no matter how big the gap. I've looked through the documentation and tried various settings but the issue persists. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Makes no sense at all. Attach a chart you notice a problem with, following these instructions:

Ok I've uploaded the 5m chart on $CNTF which gapped over 100% today. You'll see the days to load is set to 22 days, yet it only shows 1 day of chart history.

The original chart book has 1m 5m 20m, 120m and daily (historical) charts - all the intraday charts show only 1 day of data.

We are not seeing any problem with the 5 minute chart that is in the Chartbook you supplied. The Number of Days to Load correctly updates the displayed data.

Check to see if you have the charts Linked or if there is an Overlay study that may be causing the Number of Days to Load to be set from a different chart.

I have all the charts linked to the 1m chart - 5 intraday charts and 1 historical daily chart. As far as overlay studies go, do you mean indicators? I have moving averages, volume, cumulative delta, volume profile and VWAP indicators.

I just tried creating a new chartbook with no indicators and no chart links. The same problem occurs when I switch to CNTF. I've included a video recording, see attached.

You need to change the Date Range in File on the Chart Settings to go back further than July 9, 2018.

The video is not useful to us. Refer to:
Support Board Posting Information: Do Not Post Videos Unless Requested!

The symbol of the chart is CNTF and not $CNTF. It is set to load 22 days. We notice no problem after switching among various time frames using your Chartbook. 22 days is still loaded.

One problem we do see is that you have Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data Type set to Intraday Chart Only. Needs to be set to Intraday Chart. Definitively change that.

And also update to the current version following these instructions:

That did the trick, thanks for the help.
