When setting the Common P/L Currency to AUD or USD, I'm not getting TAL conversions from futures contracts set for Hong King Dollar. I've used HKD as the currency ID.

Do I have the incorrect id for HKD? or is this currency not supported?

Thanks for all your great work!

Did you follow through the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalTradeSettings.html#CommonPLCurrency

We would have to check but there may not also be support for HKD.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, followed those instructions and works flawlessly for EUR & USD conversions to AUD. Only issue is with HKD.

Any chance of getting HKD added as it seems to be not currently supported? This makes my TAL a little difficult to work with as I can't get stats and trade details into a single currency.

Possibly but we really have to run through a test and see why there is a problem.

We did a test on the symbol GBPHKD and displayed it in the common currency USD. This works. Give us very specific symbols so we can run a test.

Okay this particular conversion from Hong Kong dollars to Australian dollars is not supported. It could be with using an additional currency symbol but that extra layer of conversion is not supported.

Hi, I am trading Hang Seng futures among other products and trying to see profit and loss in terms of USD. I have set the common currency to USD and set the currency for symbol F.US.HSI?## to HKD, however, in my trade history and in Sim I still see profit and loss in terms of HKD not USD. Is there another setting I need to change?

I am having the same problem trading Hang Seng with a common currency of USD as per global trade settings. Initially after I changed settings and refreshed trade activity log it correctly showed USD in trade activity and trade window, but now it has reverted to HKD and I cannot see USD at all.

We updated the symbol settings for this symbol.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

After doing that go to the Trade >>Trade Activity Log and select Edit >> Refresh Log.

I have followed instructions and now have USD in the trade window but I'm still seeing HKD on chart order fills and the trade activity log.

Make sure you select Edit >> Refresh Log on the Trade Activity Log. There really should not be any issue being the currency conversion is occurring for some profit/loss values.
